The Race Across Québec, presented by Decathlon, is much more than just an ultra-distance race. It is an immersive human adventure in the heart of a vast, wild, and deeply welcoming region.
Sacha Bricout, ambassadeur de la Race Across Series, vous invite à découvrir ce qui rend cette épreuve si particulière et pourquoi le Québec pourrait devenir l’un des souvenirs les plus marquants de votre vie de cycliste.
No matter which distance you choose— 200K, 300K, 500K, 1000K, or 2500K —the experience promises to be one of a kind. Here, it’s not just about the performance. It’s about embarking on a journey.
A life-changing adventure
A life-sized adventure
Starting in Bromont, the routes take participants through regions where the roads wind through forests, past lakes and rivers, and through villages typical of Quebec.
Very quickly, the landscape takes on a whole new scale. The space becomes vast, the terrain wilder, the roads more isolated, and the feeling of total freedom takes hold.
Quebec has that rare ability to make you feel the thrill of adventure from the very first few miles.

Unlike European routes, which are often heavily urbanized, here nature takes center stage. You ride through wide-open spaces, sometimes with dozens of kilometers between villages. That’s exactly what makes this experience so powerful. It’s a different way to experience ultra-cycling.
Taking part in the Race Across Québec also means discovering a different approach to cycling travel.
The famous “convenience stores”—those small shops often attached to gas stations—quickly become essential stops along the way. There, you can find something to eat and drink, warm up, chat with the locals, or simply catch your breath before heading out again.
Explore Quebec's roadside cuisine on the Race Across Series
Along the way, cyclists will also discover a wide range of Quebec’s popular cuisine: roadside snack bars, poutine, club sandwiches, Tim Hortons, donuts, local microbreweries, and even the famous ice cream parlors and their “petites molles.” In Quebec, even breaks become memories.
An immersion in a vibrant region
The Race Across Québec passes through regions where nature is ever-present. It’s not uncommon to spot deer, foxes, raccoons, porcupines, or even moose as you round a bend in the road.
This closeness to wildlife, the great outdoors, and the elements is an integral part of the experience. Every sunrise, every stretch of isolated road, and every encounter with another person adds a special dimension to this adventure.
Quebec isn't really something you can describe. It's something you have to experience.
An adventure for everyone

One of the strengths of Race Across Québec is that it offers several formats, allowing everyone to enjoy their own adventure.
Some will discover the world of ultra-distance running with a 200K or 300K race. Others will attempt a 500K or 1000K to push their limits. And the most experienced runners will set out on an extraordinary journey with the 2500K.
But ultimately, the distance doesn’t matter.
What really matters is that unique feeling of driving through a vast, authentic, and deeply human landscape.
A closing remark from Sacha Bricout, ambassador for the Race Across Series:
“I’ve been lucky enough to ride through Quebec several times, and each trip has left a deep impression on me. The scenery is incredible, but what stays with you most are the emotions, the people you meet, and that constant sense of freedom. I sincerely hope that those who set out on this journey will experience this unique adventure for themselves… and that they’ll leave with just one phrase in mind: ‘I remember.’”
