Hot wax lubrication has long been the preferred choice for performance-oriented cyclists: it’s quieter, cleaner, and longer-lasting than liquid lubricants. Until now, however, it had a few drawbacks: a long break-in period, the hassle of reapplication, and wax residue that flakes off, especially when used on a stationary bike.

Why is it so effective?
Most hot waxes provide a chain efficiency of between 70 and 74% immediately after application and require about 90 minutes of riding before reaching their maximum effectiveness.
With Squirt Performance Hot Wax, you'll see immediate results:

This performance is made possible by an exclusive formulation that combines paraffin and synthetic waxes with hexagonal boron nitride, which is present in various particle sizes (nanometer and micrometer) and acts as a friction modifier.
Its more flexible formulation also virtually eliminates the break-in period, one of the main drawbacks of traditional hot waxes.

How do you apply it?
Pour the wax into a suitable container or a wax melter.
Place the chain in the wax bath.
Heat to a temperature between 93 and 95 °C, without exceeding this range.
Turn off the heat once the temperature has been reached.
Gently stir the chain for 3 to 5 minutes so that the wax penetrates thoroughly between the links.
Remove the chain and let it cool for about 20 minutes.
Before reassembling, manually loosen each link to ensure they move freely.
Before You Begin
The chain must be completely clean, free of any original grease or old lubricant. For best results, we recommend using an ultrasonic cleaner along with the degreaser recommended by the chain manufacturer.

A Simplified Interview
When it's time to reapply the wax, there's no need to use solvents.
Simply submerge the chain in boiling water with a 30-ml packet of Squirt Biodegradable Bike Cleaner Super Concentrate. The hot water melts the old wax while the cleaner removes impurities.
Next, rinse the chain, let it dry completely, and then apply another coat of wax.
A 500-gram bag provides enough for about 25 to 30 heating cycles, ensuring a very long service life.
