In 2026, the season kicks off in Portugal, with a mild climate ideal for launching your ultra challenges in the early months of the year. A new event to start off strong, early and far from the cold.

This film will take you as close as possible to the experience of the Race Across Portugal. Between magnificent landscapes and exceptional challenges.

CHOOSE YOUR DISTANCE

No matter the distance, it's the adventure that counts.

On the RACE ACROSS PORTUGAL, the routes form loops around a single Basecamp .

To complete your challenge, you will be asked to complete 1, 2, or 3 different loops. You will find your belongings and loved ones at Basecamp, the only place where you can receive assistance.

Intercity buses:Rede Expressos, FlixBus, Rodonorte

Bicycles accepted depending on the company, usuallyin a cover or bike box

From Porto train stations (Campanhã / São Bento)
Regular buses:Rede Expressos, Rodonorte (35–45 min)
Train:Comboios de Portugal (~50 min, bikes accepted free of charge – limited space)

Equipped with a GPS, you, us, your family can follow you 24 hours a day. GPX tracks are given to you a few weeks before the event.

The loops allow you to return to the Basecamp with confidence, where your belongings and family are waiting for you. Authorized assistance only on these bases.

In addition to a T-shirt, each finisher receives the famous "bout de bois", a personal trophy awarded at the finish line.

Find out what a typical day at the Race Across is like, from race bib collection to the final podium.

🏁 Arrival & welcome

Immerse yourself in the unique atmosphere of the Race Across Series, get your bearings in the village and meet our teams and partners. Drop off your bike at the bike park

🎟️ Withdrawal of race bib

Each runner gets his race bib envelope and welcome pack.

🚲 Bike preparation & control

Bicycle equipment and equipment check mandatory before departure.

🍝 Pasta Party or Breakfast & briefing

A convivial meal (often pasta ;)) followed by the official briefing to remind you of the rules, safety and the route.

📸 Start photo

The traditional, individual photo just before departure, in the airlock before the start of the adventure.

🛰️ GPS distribution

GPS trackers are handed out in the start gate.

⏱️ Individual start

Each rider takes off individually every 30 seconds for a solo, duo or team of 4 adventure.

🚴 The race

The heart of the experience: riding, managing your effort, exploring exceptional landscapes.

🗺️ Le PGO

Our operational management station keeps an eye on you and remains at your disposal in the event of a problem.

🛑 Living bases & supplies

Key points for resting, eating and leaving energized. A sleeping area is also available.
